Well I was reading the papers today and there was this remark made by a patient with a certain brittle-bone condition, it went something along the lines of, "I realize that it's okay to fall into the water, it's staying in it that causes you to drown."
And I thought wow, so Dear ________, you're beautiful and you had better know it. I love how strong you are, and never lose that faith because hope is everything when it comes to staying alive. I know how it gets sometimes when everyone else is concentrating on (almost) forcing you into cheering up, but all you ever really want is a shoulder to cry on. Everyone goes I'll always be there to listen but I sincerely want to know what's happening with you, alright? Well, life is always about battling something, and just be glad it's not worse. Gosh haha there I go again with the whole every cloud has a silver lining gig, but it really does matter that you take that to heart in times like these.
And I hope, above all, that no one will ever be able to take the fight from you.
